Industry assembly manipulator arm for Hyundai Elantra HD dashboard. Ghabour Auto was on mission to build a manipulator to control, handle & lift the dashboard without making direct physical contact with other components to replace the manual non-ergonomic traditional solution. Manipulator has a mechanical arm that can move in horizontal & vertical directions.
Targeted assembly process was studied, arm designed with dashboard scan, 3d modeling was applied, product prototype was produced through customized grippers & end effectors were manufactured & attached to the manipulator. The arm was pneumatically actuated & solution was finally tested.
